Mazda is to double the warranty to six years on all models registered from January 2023, writes Brian Byrne.
The move is designed to 'enhance the peace of mind' of Mazda customers, according to John Perry, MD of Mazda Ireland.
The company is also continuing its Fair Service programme for cars older than the three years which was the previous warranty coverage. This provides discounts on service and maintenance parts when services are performed by an authorised Mazda dealer.
Also, Mazda Assistance, the Europe-wide service assistance programme, is prolonged for another year after each service visit, up to a vehicle aged 10 years.
