Nissan Ireland have launched a new entry-grade version of their Ariya electric crossover, at a price from €43,500, writes Brian Byrne.
The 'Engage' grade comes with a 63kWh battery offering a rated range of up to 404km. Higher specification Advance or Evolve grades come with the option of a larger 87kWh battery rated up to 532km in range.
Nissan Ireland say they have a strong supply of all versions of the Ariya, which was limited in supply through 2023. The company also suggests the new entry price makes buying an electric car of its size the same cost or less than buying a smilier size diesel car.
