Opel and Peugeot EVs debut at Nevo EV Show


A number of new and revised electric cars will get their Irish debut at the Nevo Electric Vehicle Show this coming Saturday, writes Brian Byrne. They will include the electric version of Opel's Astra, an electric Peugeot 308 and a refreshed Peugeot E-208.

More than 20 brands will be showing their electric models, at Dublin's RDS. Entry is free, but those going must register for tickets at Nevo.ie.

The new Astra Electric, offering a rated range of up to 418km on a full charge, is available in three trims and will retail from €39,598 including applicable grants. 


The E-308 will be available in hatchback and wagon formats, with a rated range of 413km. Prices will be revealed at the Nevo show. The revised E-208 gets an extended range to a rated 400km, and also detail exterior changes. Inside there's a new design for the digital instrument cluster. Prices start at €31,035 including incentives.
