Nissan is re-entering Europe’s A-segment with the Pixo, an all-electric city car to be built in Europe, writes Brian Byrne. Unveiled on World EV Day, PIXO will debut fully on 23 September 2026.
It joins Nissan’s electric lineup alongside the Leaf, Micra, and the upcoming Juke EV, offering a compact and stylish option for urban mobility.
The car will share its platform with the Renault Twingo E-Tech and the new-generation Dacia Spring EVs, to be built in Slovenia.
Nissan previously used the Pixo name for a city car produced between 2009-2013.
