Continental Tyres Ireland has commissioned a new video for Tyre Safety Day, marked on October 5, in collaboration with content creator Michael Deady, writes Brian Byrne. The video aims to encourage motorists, especially younger drivers, to regularly check their tyres.
Tom Dennigan, Head of Continental Tyres Ireland, and Deady highlight examples of neglected tyres at a Dublin Modern Tyres outlet, emphasising the risks of driving on tyres below the legal tread depth or with visible damage.
Dennigan stresses that regular, simple inspections can prevent serious safety issues and extend tyre life. The video will be available on Continental Tyres’ Instagram account.
