Paceman gets more frugal, more power

Mini has refreshed its Paceman coupe model with some style detail changes, smarter interior trims and a range of engines with include a more powerful one from John Cooper Works, writes Brian Byrne.

The car debuts at Auto China Beijing 2014 and the company says it offers an optimised balance between driving performance and fuel consumption.

CO2 emissions have been reduced in all of the EU6-compliant engines, while acceleration performance has increased.

The John Cooper Works Paceman offers 218hp and AWD as standard.
