
Lexus is making an even more serious commitment to its 'spindle' grille identifier with the NX compact SUV unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show, writes Brian Byrne.
It may be a bit OTT for some, but there'll be no mistaking what's in your rear-view mirror when it starts rolling out on the road.
More interesting perhaps is a brand new 2.0 turbo petrol engine from the brand which debuts in the car, offering 235hp and with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
There's also a naturally-aspirated version with a CVT transmission, while the hybrid technology is present in the NX 300h with 196hp from the 2.5 petrol engine/electric motor setup.
