SKODA has won the 'Driver's Choice' category at the 2014 Irish Taxi Driver Federation Industry awards, writes Trish Whelan.
Speaking at the announcement, Patrick Quinn, Taxi News said "In respect of both the SKODA Octavia and the Superb, we have determined that these two offerings from SKODA afford the Irish Taxi Driver with excellent working vehicles - of outstanding build quality and reliability." He said 'they are proven to be durable, comfortable, solid, economic and spacious'.
"In particular, the Superb boasts a rear legroom that rivals and exceeds that of more expensive executive type vehicles. These cars also maintain very healthy resale values."
John Donegan, Brand Director, SKODA Ireland said 'this incredible result follows the Octavia topping a value of money poll in a recent car survey by consumer magazine Which'.
There are currently 14,000 full-time and an additional 8,500 part-time taxi drivers in Ireland.
SKODA dealerships nationwide now have Superb offers including rates for HP across the range from 1.42 percent APR. In addition to these rates, customers will receive 3-years free servicing on SKODA's purchased in July. SKODA are also offering IFA members a contribution of €1,000 towards a finance deposit on any new car purchased through SKODA Finance.
