by Brian Byrne. A 5-day event in Cork and Kerry is bringing back perhaps the finest collection of Model T Ford cars seen in recent years, when the Irish Model T Ford Club’s International Tour marked Cork 2005, European Capital of Culture.
Some 67 cars in total are taking part in the Tour, which covers over 400 miles, starting from Ringaskiddy Ferry Port in Cork.
Each participant was presented with a special brass plaque depicting a 1914 Model T radiator and a full colour limited edition souvenir programme.
