The JTS engines increase power and performance, but don't make much improvement, if any, to fuel consumption.
They are available in 1.9, 2.2 and 3.2 litres - the first two based on engines sourced from GM Europe, the last on a V6 produced by GM's Australian subsidiary Holden. The cylinder head designs are Alfa's own.
