Audi is to race a diesel powered supercar at Le Mans next June.
The R10 car will have a V12 TDI engine producing over 650 hp -- the world’s most powerful racing diesel engine.
The engine is a totally new 5.5-litre, 12-cylinder twin-turbo and has a colossal 1,100 Newton metres of torque.
