Mercedes-Benz Ireland expects to sell some 500 units of the new generation Sprinters in the remainder of this year, effectively the full allocation available to them.
First supplies arrive in June, and though no prices have yet been announced, the distributors don't expect that there will be major increases.
Around 1.3 million units of the Sprinter have been sold globally since it was first launched, and last year in a runout situation it actually set a new sales record.
