That famous 1976 Johnny Cash song about the car worker who managed to smuggle out enough parts over a decade to build his own Cadillac of distinctly mongrel vintage -- "One Piece At A Time" -- isn't so far fetched after all.
Police in Germany have arrested members of a gang who got themselves jobs in BMW factories, and over the last six years have smuggled out millions of euros worth of cars piece by piece.
They apparently reassembled the cars and sold them, mainly in southeastern Europe, police say.
