Audi A6 and A8 models are now getting the latest Audi V8 engine with advanced FSI direct petrol injection.
The new A6 4.2 FSI quattro Saloon and Avant variants feature the new 350hp 4.2-litre FSI engine which replaces the 4.2-litre, 335hp unit that has powered A6 and A8 models since launch.
It delivers a maximum of 350hp, and peak torque of 440Nm, enabling A6 4.2 FSI quattro models to accelerate from rest to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, A8 4.2 FSI quattros to go the distance in 6.1 seconds.
The Irish prices for the A6 with the new engine is €91,390, and in the A8 starts at €113,920.
