There'll be no sniffing and sneezing and running noses for those prone to allergy if they buy Volvo's new S80 saloon.
That's because the car has a new Clean Zone Interior Package (CZIP) as an option which makes it the first car with interior air quality approved by the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association.
The package provides an interior with materials that avoid collecting dust and also includes a remotely controlled cabin ventilation system which automatically refreshes the car's interior as soon as it is unlocked via the remote key fob.
It is estimated that almost half the population of the western world has some form of over-sensitivity to pollen or dust.
