New Mondeo is available in three bodystyles – four-door saloon, five-door hatchback and estate, and specification which include LX, Zetec, Titanium and Ghia models which offer a choice of premium quality features.
Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) is standard, as are seven airbags, including a new driver’s knee airbag. Ford's Easyfuel capless refuelling with fuel inhibitor prevents misfuelling.
The LX features the following engine types: 1.6i 110 PS petrol; 1.8 TDCi 100 PS; and 2.0 TDCi 130 PS (automatic), with a choice of 5- or 6-speed transmissions.
In addition to the LX features, the Mondeo Zetec sports 16” 24 spoke alloy wheels; leather steering wheel incorporating cruise control; and rear power windows with global closing, climate control and front fogs. In addition to the LX range of engines, the Mondeo Zetec engine range includes: a 2.0i 145 PS petrol and a manual version of the 2.0 TDCi delivering 140 PS. BB.
