Toyota for emerging markets?

A new Toyota aimed at emerging markets will challenge the likes of Renault's Logan and Fiat's Palio replacement.

Industry sources say Toyota is close to building its low-cost car prototype, which will be targeted at markets like China. It could be sold in that country at the equivalent of 4,500 euros.

Toyota might invent a new brand for the car, which will be the first to use a number of new manufacturing technologies which help to keep costs down. BB.
