There are 16 variants available in four levels of specification -- LX, Zetec, Ghia and Titanium X. The top of the range is the Titanium X 2.5 at 42,345 euros, powered by the 220hp five cylinder petrol engine based on the one used in the Focus ST.
Petrol options include a 1.6 litre with 110 hp and a 2.0 litre with 145 hp on tap. Diesels are 1.8 litre with 100 hp and a pair of 2 litre versions with 130 hp and 140 hp respectively.
An Electronic Stability Control system is standard across the range as are seven airbags and air conditioning. Ford has committed to making ESP standard across its full car range over the next couple of years. BB.
