Huge crowds saw Lorna Smith finish top of the tarmac championship points ladder in Donegal after a particularity eventful rally on Saturday. A collision with another vehicle resulted in her going off the road at Knockalla and another collision with some straw bales sent the Suzuki team into overdrive.
Lorna went on to set some impressive times and currently leads the class on 45 points, ahead of Enda Hallinan from the Honda Civic team on 35 points.
Suzuki team mate James Wozencroft continuously set fast times despite gearbox problems and was leading the class when he retired on stage 9.
