Next Mazda3 revealed

Although specified for the American market, the new generation Mazda3 unveiled this week at the Los Angeles Motor Show gives us a peek at what it will like when it gets to this side of the Atlantic.



The LA reveal was a sedan, but the hatchback version which is the more important format for Europe will be shown at the Bologna Motor Show in a couple of weeks' time.



The platform of the outgoing car is retained in the new one, with just some tweaking of the suspension.



It's not likely to be in Ireland until the latter part of 2009.
