Kia stop/start coming to Europe

Deliveries of Kia cars with the brand's version of Stop/Go fuel saving will begin within two months.

The company says the systems will cut fuel consumption by up to 15 perccent.

The first cars to get the ISG (Idle Stop & Go) will be the C-segment vehicles produced in Europe, variants on the cee'd, but it is unlikely to be available in Ireland until next year.

Kia is also developing hybrid, fuel cell and electric vehicles for volume production in the next decade.
