The awards, designed to celebrate the very best of the travel industry in the opinion of Irish consumers, were decided in an online ballot conducted amongst members of the Irish public by reservations providers ebookers.ie and Abroad magazine.
The award was presented at a ceremony held in Dublin’s RDS recently hosted
by Kathryn Thomas, presenter of RTE's No Frontiers. Accepting on behalf of the company, their Marketing Director, Tony Kelly said that it was recognition of the investment made by Irish Ferries in its modern ferry fleet and of the high service standards existing on board.
Irish Ferries was one of four ferry companies shortlisted for the award.
