An electric version of Fiat's Fiorino will be available from September.
The vehicle is being produced by Micro-Vett, the electric vehicle specialist which has a relationship with Fiat Research. The company took charge of the electrification of the Fiat Fiorino range following their partnership in the development of the Fiat Doblo electric version.
The electric Fiorino will be imported by Green Machines, in Terenure, Dublin. It will have a 30kW motor offering a top speed of up to 100 km/h. The lithium batteries provide a range of up to 150 km. The vhicle has a payload of up to 400kg. (volume of 2,5 m3).
The electric Fiorino is available in full Irish specification with all standard options and the backing of a full Fiat warranty on Fiat parts.
Green Machines already has a range of electric vehicles on sale, from bicycles through commuter scooters and the Mega electric car. It also sells the electric Doblo.
