There will be three levels of trim, and all versions will have ESP as standard in addition to the usual other electronic safety aids.
The car will have six airbags, and an automatic electronic brake as well as hill start assist.
The power unit will be the company's 1.6 hdi 110bhp with 6 speed manual transmission and it sits comfortably in the Band B tax rating with 135g/km CO2. An electronically controlled Eco gearbox option is available for an extra €1,000.
The car goes on sale here in early 2010.
