The new Kia Venga MPV will go on sale in Ireland before Christmas with prices starting from €18,395.
It comes in two specification levels with just one engine, a 90hp 1.4 diesel. The CO2 emissions of 117g/km place in it Band A for tax rating. Fuel consumption is 4.5L/100k or 61mpg. Low rolling resistance tyres are part of the Ecodynamic package, the only version to be sold in Ireland.
All variants have stop-go systems (ISG for intelligent stop & go in Kia-speak) to save fuel while stopped in traffic. ESP is also standard, as is air conditioning and the car comes with Bluetooth audio link and iPod compatability. The EX high specification adds a number of extra items including alloys, privacy glass and rear electric windows as well as some leather trim. It sells for €19,695.
The Venga is European designed and built and is flagged as a B segment car with C segment space.
