Charities benefit from Lisbon facility

Two leading Irish charities — the National Rehabilitation Institute and Barrettstown Camp — shared the €1,600 fee that was paid to Ballsbridge Motors in Dublin for allowing their Shelbourne Road showrooms to be used as a polling station in lieu of the nearby Ballsbridge VEC building, which was undergoing renovations at the time.

Pictured receiving their cheques were Keith Wilton (National Rehab Hospital) and Ciara Smullen (Barrettstown Camp) with Ballsbridge Motors general manager Seamus Ryan (centre).
