Toyota helps green youth movement

Toyota Ireland has given the use of a Prius hybrid to ECO-UNESCO, Ireland’s environmental education and youth organization.

The organisation aims to raise environmental awareness, promote the protection and conservation of the environment, and promote the personal development of young people.

Toyota will also sponsor the Club of the Year Award at the annual ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards (YEA). These Awards are held each spring to recognise the outstanding green achievements of young people from youth groups and schools across Ireland.

The Showcase and Awards Ceremony will take place in the Mansion house on May 12 this year.

Pictured at the presentation of the Prius are Elaine Nevin, National Director of ECO-UNESCO, and Louise Murphy, Marketing Executive, Toyota Ireland.
