The short list of cars for the World Car of the Year Award, due to be announced at the beginning of next month at the New York Motor Show, is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Toyota Prius and the VW Polo.
The list was announced this week during the Geneva Motor Show. In the category shortlists, the the Honda Insight, Toyota Prius, and Volkswagen's BlueMotion Polo, Gold and Passat variants will contest the World Green Car category, while the finalists in the World Car Design award are the Chevrolet Camaro, Citroen C3 Picasso, and the Kia Soul.
