C3 Picasso upgrades

The newly restyled Citroen C3 Picasso is now on sale in Ireland priced from €20,995, writes Trish Whelan.

Updates to this supermini MPV include new design features, fresh body colours and additional optional technology.

Bluetooth, 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control and air conditioning are now offered as standard.

The HDi 90 manual VTR+ model returns 4.2 L/100kms (67.2mpg), while the HDI 90 manual Code version returns the same fuel economy but comes in at €21,495. Both are in Band A4 of €200 a year annual road tax.

A revised front bumper and the latest Citroen chevrons, and LED daytime running lights are standard on VTR+ models. New body colours are Ink Blue and Pearlescent White.

The cabin has been updated with a new trim, standard on all VTR+ models. Customers can opt for an electro-chrome rear view mirror in the Automatic Pack option at no extra charge.

The Special Edition C3 Picasso CODE also now has an array of additional equipment including white Clover 17-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, chrome door mirrors and roof bars, for an extra €500.

The car has one of the biggest cabin lengths in its class - at 1.6m long it is a rival for some MPVs in the segment above. It offers class-leading passenger space and a 500 litre boot.
