New C4 revealed

Citroen has revealed first details of it next generation C4 compact car, which will debut at the Paris Motor Show in September and will launch in Ireland in early 2011.

Slightly larger than the current car, it will have boot space that is claimed by the company to have the largest capacity in the class.

Powertrains will include micro-hybrid e-HDi units, with one launch engine emitting just 109g/km CO2. A 99g/km powertrain will be available later next year.
