At the moment the only production car in this genre is from Toyota's electric development partner Tesla, but reports are surfacing of plans for a Toyota-badged one too.
The speculation is around a 500hp with a 4-second sprint to 60mph. The bad news is, it isn't likely to be rolled out until 2015.
