EV sports car for Le Mans showing

Citroen's 300hp SurVolt electric sports car will have its first track outing at the Le Mans Classic on Saturday.

The carbon-bodied car will be driven by racing driver Vanina Ickx. It has a 200km range from its lithium-ion batteries, and can accelerate from to 100km/h in about five seconds.

The car was shown as a concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
