New CL-Class revealed

Mercedes-Benz has revealed its new generation CL Class, which comes with a range of technological items that would almost require a brochure of their own to outline.

But the heart of the new version of the flagship coupe from the Stuttgart automaker is the completely redesigned 435hp V8 petrol engine.

The 4.7-litre motor is 23 percent more efficient than in the predecessor car, with CO2 emissions of 224g/km and an acceleration potential a tad over the five seconds mark to 100km/h.

There's also a 5.5 V8 with 517hp.
