The V60 is described as having a 'coupe-like' design and Volvo says it isn't designed to compete with the traditional estate cars produced by the company.
The car will come with all of the technologies available in the S60, including Advanced Stability Control. Its engines will be diesels and petrol units with power outputs between 115-304hp.
First cars will be delivered to customers in the autumn. No Irish availability has yet been revealed.
