The EX1 is powered by two electric motors, one on each axle, offering a power output of 340hp.
Styling cues follow from previous concepts which, among other details, show elements which have already been found in the new RCZ coupe from the company.
The concept is a real car and has already broken a number of international records for an electrically-powered car. These include standing starts over 1/8 of a mile (in 8.89s), ¼ of a mile (in 14.4s), 500 m (in 16.81s), ½ of a mile (in 23.85s), 1000 m (in 28.16s), and 1 mile (in 41.09s).
The car goes on public display at Peugeot Avenue, 136 Avenue des Champs-Elysees, Paris from 22 September.
