Here's a piece that pretty well sums up what we feel about Michael O'Leary's harebrained PR stunt in suggesting the second pilot on a plane is an unnecessary cost.
Sheesh ... the guy is so stupid to even joke about it. How many people out there simply heard it second or third hand, and now believe that he actually has already dropped the second pilot? They're not going to fly Ryanair any more.
And the serious thing is, he'd do it if he could get away with it. Do you really want to fly an airline run with that kind of attitude at the top? Because we don't know where he might already have found ways to cut out other less obvious safety related costs.
