It’s not unusual for traffic in Paris to come to complete standstill but on this occasion it was for the best possible reason! To celebrate Alfa Romeo’s centenary (and the tenth anniversary of the Salon Automédon classic car and motorbike show in Paris) a collection 100 of the finest classic and modern Alfa Romeos in France took to the streets last weekend (October 16th) for a stunning, traffic-stopping tour of the French capital.
All the favourite Alfa Romeos were in attendance including the 1900, 2300, Giulietta, Giulia, Alfetta GTV 6, Montreal, Alfasud and, of course, the classic Spider.
The oldest car to take part in the event was the 1928 6C 1500 although for many the highlight was seeing (and hearing) the stunning 8C Competizione in action.
