The new transport trade association in Ireland, the Freight Transport Association, has launched a website to help publicise the benefits of the organisation.
Established as a response to industry’s need to improve the profile of logistics practices in the Republic of Ireland, FTA Ireland says it will give the Irish logistics industry a new opportunity to present its combined views on transport policy.
Its members include some of the largest businesses in Ireland as well as prominent Irish transport companies. They include Balcas Timber, Casserly Transport, DHL – Supply Chain, Emo Oil, Keelings, Peninsula Ireland, South Coast Transport, Wincanton, BOC Gases (Ireland), Cemex Ireland, Eddie Stobart Ireland, FedEx, Kerry Foods, Reynolds Logistics, Tesco Ireland, Bus Eireann, DHL – Express Ireland, EM News Distribution, Irish Global Logistics, O’Reilly Transport, Safety Kleen Ireland, and UPS.
