EV and hybrid cars 'could replace' UK household cars

Almost two in three British motorists believe that electric and hybrid cars 'have the potential' to replace their household cars.

According to a survey carried by UK vehicle valuers Glass, 60 percent of the respondents 'agreed or partly agreed' to the suggestion.

But most of the people surveyed didn't know the name of any EV other than the Prius hybrid from Toyota.

The actual response breakdown was 23 percent said EV and hybrid cars could fully replace their household's cars, while just over a third sad the cars could replace their second vehicles.
