It was a triumphal start of the season for the 2011 WTCC season for the new Cruze 1.6 turbo Chevrolet team who enjoyed a double victory and five podium finishes in Curitiba, Brazil which hosted the championship's opening meeting last weekend.

Rounds 1 & 2 were won by the Chevrolet drivers, Rob Huff took the first race ahead of team mate Muller and local hero Caca Bueno, while Alain Menu (pictured below) took victory in Race 2 with Muller, Huff and Bueno taking 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively. The Chevrolet team couldn't have dreamt of a better start as it leaves Brazil with plenty of cups and points.
