See your A1 design brought to life

Audi report hundreds of entries have already been received for their Art Competition for Leinster Primary Schools, writes Trish Whelan.

The winner will be presented with their prize by rugby legend Rob Kearney.

Having the change to meet a rugby superstar has certainly appealed to the young Leinster school children as there has been huge interest in the competition so far to create a unique design for the Audi A1 roof arch.

Celebrating its first birthday this year, Audi North Dublin is encouraging children to express their creative talents in this art competititon.

The winner will get to see his or her design brought to life when it is reproduced onto a real Audi A1 car and put on display at Audi North Dublin showroom. They will also win a computer for their school and meet with the Leinster, Ireland and Lions rugby hero, as well as being presented with a rugby jersey signed by him.

The chosen young artist will be invited to the Awards Ceremony at Audi North Dublin, at Exit 5 on the M50, in April. For details on how to enter, visit www.audinorthdublin.ie.

The closing date for entries is 31 March 2011.

The Audi A1 has been awarded a top five stars by Euro NCAP, and is available from €19,595 on the road.
