Killarney RFC under 13s boys rugby team yesterday took to the hallowed pitch at Thomond Park.
The lucky team won the chance to train with their Munster rugby idols through a Facebook competition run by Toyota Ireland, sponsors of Munster Rugby.
Led out by their captain Paul O'Connell, the Munster players - which included Thomas O'Leary, Donnacha O'Callaghan, Doug Howlett, Peter O'Mahony and Ian Nagle - gave the Killarney boys the training session of a lifetime. The lads were also put through their paces by Munster coaches Tony McGahan and Jason Holland.
More than 250 teams took part in the competition which was aimed at kids' sports teams between the ages of 10-16 from all over the country. A panel of judges picked the overall winner from the top five voted teams based on written submissions they made explaining why their team should be the ones to train with Munster.
We're sure the lads had a dream day at Thomond Park.
