Volvo in Ireland are now taking orders for their S60 (pictured) or V60 DRIVe versions, with prices from €30,950-37,750.
Both are now available with the upgraded 1.6 diesel engine that meets the Euro 5 emissions standard introduced in January this year.
The DRIVe badge sits on those models that offer the best environmental performance in their size segments.
C02 emissions are 114g/km and 119g/km respectively, corresponding to fuel consumption of 4.4 and 4.6 L/100kms. Both fall into tax band A for VRT and annual road tax. This means buyers can now choose between a total of seven models, all in Band A.
The D2 engine creates a three diesel engine range - D2 (115hp); D3 (163hp), and D5 (205hp) plus a petrol T4 (180hp) for Irish buyers.
Customer deliveries start next month.
