Sales people in European Ford dealerships will be given iPads loaded with information on Ford products, writes Brian Byrne, in a bid by the company to challenge Volkswagen for top spot in Europe.
The initiative is part of a new strategy by the company to highlight technology and fuel economy as reasons to choose Ford.
As part of the process, Ford’s Sync connectivity system will launch in Germany in 2012, and electric and hybrid cars will arrive in Europe the year after.
