Welsh politicians want to ban cigarette smoking in cars which are carrying children under 18—but the Automobile Association says it isn't a good idea, writes Brian Byrne.
The plan has been proposed by the Welsh Assembly First Minister Carwyn Jones and is backed by the British Medical Association.
But the AA in Britain said it would 'cause confusion' amongst drivers who cross the Welsh border daily from England, and could also cause accidents if smokers deprived of their fix suffered from 'increased anxiety and nervousness'.
