This is BMW's rolled out concept for its new i3 electric city car, due to go on sale in 2013.
The carbon-bodied lightweight car has a 170hp electric motor driving the rear wheels and a claimed 8-second performance to 100km/h.
Along with the hybrid i8 sports car 2+2 concept below, the car will get its first public viewing at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
