Irish Ferries 'Swift' gets sea to itself

The Irish Ferries Dublin-Holyhead fast ferry Dublin Swift will have the sea to itself from mid September - the first time this has happened since it entered service twelve years ago.

From the 14th September onwards, it will become the sole fast ferry service operating between Ireland and the UK after rival fast ferry services withdraw for Winter.

The Dublin Swift service will continue in operation through to the end of the year with two return sailings daily, including Christmas. Backed by their ferry Ulysses, which also operates two daily round trips between Dublin and Holyhead, and the Isle of Inishmore which sails twice daily from Rosslare to Pembroke, passengers will have a choice of six Irish Ferries return sailings to Britain each day, all year round.
