The new Civic - designed exclusively for Europe and which will make its debut at Frankfurt Motor Show next month - will be the ninth generation of the hatchback.
Production of the small family car will start later in the year ahead of the sales launch in early 2012.
The new Civic will have improved ride quality and handling, and Honda say it will boast the biggest cabin and boot space in the C-sector. Pictured above is the Chassis Development team with a 'disguised 2012 Civic'.
The new CR-V will go on sale in Europe from Autumn 2012.
