Ford's newest sport utility vehicle, the Ford Escape, was unveiled at the Los Angeles motor show. It is destined for Europe next year. It's European equivalent, the Ford Kuga, will be shown in Geneva next March with unique power trains and features.
As well as more cargo room behind the first and second rows than today's car, the new Escape has eleven features that no other small SUV offers; a hands-free power lift gate that allows quick and easy access to the cargo with the kick of a foot; up to 5mpg better than the previous car; a more engaging on-road experience and a new Ford Intelligent 4WD system for better traction off-road; as well as a sleek new design with better interior materials and finishing touches.
