The 3008 HYbrid4, the world's first diesel electric hybrid, is now available to pre-order in Ireland with full prices and specifications announced.
Available from €36,995 plus dealer delivery related charges, the car will be previewed at Peugeot Dealerships in February ahead of its April launch (Band A road tax of €160).
This environmentally friendly, ground breaking car introduces a combination of diesel and electric power, offering up to 200hp and four driving modes: Automatic, all-electric Zero Emissions, Sport and 4WD models. The car's cost of ownership benefits from its low C02 of 99g/km and fuel consumption of 3.8 L/100km (that's 74mpg).
Standard equipment will include alarm and deadlocks, cruise control + speed limiter, climate control bi-zone air con, 16-inch alloys, automatic headlights and wipers, all electric windows, electric child locks, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
A second version, emitting 104g/km C02 (also Band A), will retail from €38,695 and gains additional standard equipment including a 2-screen video pack, sunblinds, a Head Up Display with Distance Alert, satellite navigation and 17-inch alloys.
The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 qualifies for a government rebate of €1,500 up to the end of this year. Prices quoted include this rebate.
